Record Attendance for IberSim 2010
There is only one week to go before the opening IberSim 2010. IberSim is a networking event that includes a training and simulation conference, an exhibition and provides a focused venue for the IberSim training and simulation consortium.
Registrations for the event have increased significantly for the second edition of the event. People from the training and simulation community who wish to participate in the event can register online at www.ibersim.com/registration before Friday 22 October 2010.
The IberSim conference comprises of sessions focussed on technologies for simulation and training, current solutions, current projects, trends and users requirements. The sessions will include presentations from the Spanish Ministry of Defence, Spanish Ministry of Interior, defence and aerospace contractors along with a host of technologies companies. Representatives from the virtual reality industry are also participating in IberSim 2010 for the first time.
“We are glad to see the huge rise in interest around IberSim this year, especially from outside Spain and Portugal. With an increased number of visitors and users of simulators and training systems coming to the event, IberSim will be a good venue for more collaboration, more experience sharing and more discussions“, said Gaël Ramaen, organiser of the event (Antycip Simulation). “Organising this proved to us that the community needed to meet more often in order to discuss about how to improve training, how to exploit new technologies and simply to know what solutions are already out there”, he continued. “The fact that industries outside the defence and aerospace area will be represented at the event also expands the diversity of the audience”, he concluded.
